Meet Nao, Our Last Student

She was from Tochigi, Japan. Nao stayed with us for two very short weeks and we miss her so much already. In those few short days we had with her we managed to cram in a lot! We took her go kart racing. (I came in 1st place, of course! Ichiban!) We played mini golf with grandmom and soaked each other on the bumper boats. We took her country line dancing while my mother was still in town and she picked up every dance without missing a beat. She even taught the rest of her friends how to do the electric slide while in Disney Land the next day. For her last night we enjoyed live music, dancing, and good food at the Coyote Grill.
We will miss Nao and hope to see her again either here or Japan. Whichever one comes first. She came bearing many lovely gifts for us including a Japanese tea set with green tea, a beautifully embroidered "year of the boar" calendar tapestry, a calligraphy set, and of course, her fabulous shampoo ensemble. But the most amazing gift she left was the beautiful imprint that will forever be in our hearts.

Nao has such a wonderful spirit! I really enjoyed hanging out with her. She has such joy for life....it was contagious. And what a wonderful laugh. Good time at the Stampede that night. It's always fun hanging out dancing with the girls. Had a blast with your mom too!

Love your sister,

Brenda
